Achievements of Green Gold Animal Health Project presented

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. The Steering Committee Meeting of the Green Gold Animal Health project of the Swiss Cooperation in Mongolia held online to discuss and approve the operational report of 2020 and yearly plan of operations for 2021. The Meeting was attended by 12 members of the Steering Committee, led by T.Jambaltseren, State Secretary of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, J. Batmunkh, Director of the Livestock Policy Implementation Department of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, D.Tumendemberel, Director of the State Authority for Veterinary Services, and Benoit Meyer-Bisch, Deputy Head of the Swiss Cooperation in Mongolia.
Also, 28 experts, researchers and officials representing
government, research, university, non-government, and educational institutions
participated and presented the results and achievements of activities
implemented within the scope of the Green Gold Animal Health Project and
financial and technical support.
At the onset of this consolidation phase, GGAHP team has
formulated the Exit/Legacy strategy for 2017-2020 as a guiding document to
steer the project legacy more effectively, and to ensure sustainability of SDC
investment in sustainable rangeland management sector and to contribute to
improved livelihood of Mongolian herders.
