Mongolia-China Joint Commission on Border Regimes convenes virtually

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ According to the 47th article of an Intergovernmental Agreement between Mongolia and China on Mongolia-China Border Ports and their regimes, Mongolia-China Joint Commission on Border Regimes was set up in 2013.
The third meeting of the joint commission took place virtually on
September 22. The meeting was co-chaired by Deputy Director of Treaties and
Legal Affairs Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia
G.Batchimeg and Advisor to the Boundary and Ocean Affairs Department of the Foreign
Ministry of China Zhan Lin.
The parties highly appraised the implementation of protocol of the second meeting of the commission held in 2018 in Ulaanbaatar. While exchanging views on issues relevant to regime enforcement activities in border areas, trans-boundary forest and steppe fire and prevention from human and animal infectious diseases in border areas, the sides expressed their readiness to expand and upgrade relations and cooperation further.
