Startup businesses to be given free consulting services

Ulaanbaatar Innovation Center and Development Solutions NGO signed today a Memorandum of
Understanding within the framework of the implementation of USAID’s projects
and programs towards increasing lending to SMEs and reducing unemployment.
Within the framework of the MoU, joint projects, training
and consulting services for startups, SMEs and producers will be carried out at
the Ulaanbaatar Innovation Center, Bayankhoshuu and Selbe Business Incubator
centers.
During the signing of the MoU, B.Munkh-Orgil, Head of the Ulaanbaatar
Innovation Center, said that it has launched a five-year project to support
startup businesses in cooperation with the ‘Development Solutions’ NGO. Within
this frame, a number of trainings are planned for small and medium businesses. For
instance, it will provide training and advice to businesses on project writing, drawing financial resources from international financial
institutions, and corporate governance. The first training will start
next month at the Bayankhoshuu sub-center and the Ulaanbaatar Innovation
Center.”
