Comprehensive project on improving public transport services to be implemented this year

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On April 13, Chairman of the Citizens’ Representative Khural of the Capital City R.Dagva worked at the Ulaanbaatar Development Corporation to become acquainted with projects currently being implemented as well as those to be implemented in the future.
Ulaanbaatar Development Corporation CEO S.Bilegsaikhan introduced to the Chairman that a total of 23 projects are planned to be implemented in 2020. A comprehensive project to improve the public transport service that is often seen as a pressing issue by the citizens of the capital city is to be prioritized out of all the projects. In its framework, a project on renewing the vehicles used for public transport, ‘Ulaanbaatar taxi - CAB’ project on enhancing taxi services, a project on car parks as well as a project on school buses will be implemented.
Officials highlighted that the projects will be funded through investment from private entities during the meeting.
