Mongolian photographer placed third at AIPS Sport Media Awards

Ulaanbaatar /MONSTAME/ A photo named ‘Before a catch’ by member of the Mongolian Sports Press Union, photographer Ch.Ganbat took third place in sport action category at the International Sports Press Association (AIPS) Sport Media Awards 2020.


The photographer received his award at the awards ceremony held during the opening of the AIPS 83rd Congress in Budapest on February 3.



Ch.Ganbat is a professional sports photojournalist of Mongolia who has covered a number of international events including four summer and winter Olympic Games and Asian regional championships.


This year’s AIPS Sport Media Awards received a total of 1,746 submissions from 125 countries.
