Academician J.Amarsanaa receives award named after State Honored Lawyer B.Chimid

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On the occasion of the 28th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution, the award named after State Honored Lawyer B.Chimid was presented to Honored Lawyer J.Amarsanaa.
Parliament Speaker G.Zandanshatar presented the award in recognition of his work in promoting the values and core ideology of the Constitution through several of his works, such as ‘Democratic Legislation’, and ‘Timeline of the Constitution of Mongolia’ as well as his valuable contributions to the development of the state legislative system. With this, State Honored Lawyer J.Amarsanaa becomes the 6th academician to receive the award.
At the ceremony, Speaker G.Zandanshatar said, “The new democratic Constitution of Mongolia was adopted by the People’s Great Khural 28 years ago. The constitution set the legislative base for our country to create a new society by shifting into democracy and the market economy. The main figure that worked on the new constitution was B.Chimid, who made great contributions to the country and its people. Thus, the award was created by the parliament in aims of honoring his hard work and contribution, as well as developing research-based legislative procedures, and supporting scholars and researchers that created significant works on the matter.”
