Deputy Foreign Minister meets Japanese Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. On
December 24, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Battsetseg met with newly
appointed Ambassador of Japan Kobayashi Hiroyuki in connection with his
upcoming presentation of credentials.
At the meeting, the Deputy Minister noted that Japan’s support, credit and assistance played a remarkable role to strengthen Mongolia’s democratic reform and lay a foundation of modern development. She expressed interest in further deepening the Mongolia-Japan strategic partnership relations.
Koboyashi Hiroyuki, for his
part, noted that he is pleased to be appointed to Mongolia for the third
time. He also expressed hope that the athletes of the two countries will
achieve high results at the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
