34.8 million tons of coal exported

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. According to first eleven months of 2019, Mongolia’s profit of coal export increased by USD 326.8 million and profit of iron ore increased by USD 211.7 million which contributed the trade balance to be profitable. Whereas, profit of copper concentrate decreased by USD 153.2 million compared with the same period of the previous year.
According
to the statistics of Mongolian General Customs Administration, Mongolia has
exported 34.8 million tons of coal and the profit reached USD 2.9 billion in
the first eleven months of 2019. The coal export increased by 1.4 million tons
and profit increased by USD 326.8 million compared with the same period of last year.
Mongolia planned to export 42.0 million tons of coal in 2019 as in the state budget approved by the Parliament.
