Exhibition on dinosaur findings to be displayed in Pyongyang

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Following decisions were made at the regular meeting of the Cabinet dated on November 28:
- A regular population and housing census will be carried out nationwide on January 9-16, 2020. Heads of Commissions on census of the capital city, provinces and districts were assigned to fully ensure preparation of the census.
- The Cabinet resolved to cover the required money for supporting activities of Senior Center and furnishing of public organizations in new soum center of Khalkh gol soum, Dornod aimag from the Government Reserve Fund. Within the framework of ‘New soum’ project, Governor’s Office building, cultural center for 250 people, 20-bed hospital, secondary school for 650 children, kindergarten for 150 children as well as dormitory for 180 children and sports palace have been built and commissioned.
- The Cabinet made a decision to provide financing for special exhibition on dinosaur findings of Mongolia, which will be presented in Pyongyang, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, from the Government Reserve Fund. The exhibition will display 16 set of findings including skeleton of Zavrolof, which is on the list of unique historical and cultural heritage. Moreover, replicas of findings ‘Two Fighting Dinosaurs’, ’15 babies of an horned dinosaur who are in their nest’ and other original findings will be featured.
