Memorandum of Cooperation signed with Russian Foundation for Basic Research

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On November 23, Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports Yo.Baatarbileg held a meeting with President of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research V.Ya.Panchenko.
As joint basic research projects are successfully being implemented in the framework of the partnership, the sides established a Memorandum of Cooperation on supporting basic scientific research, and an agreement to organize calls for joint proposals in 2020. In the framework of the agreement and memorandum, up to 25 joint projects are to be financed by the two sides.
Minister Yo.Baatarbileg put forth his suggestions for possible joint projects with the Academy of Sciences, and the Foundation for Basic Research of the Russian Federation, and the two sides agreed to further increase the range of research and accelerate its progress.
