Mongolian delegation to attend summit in the capital of Kenya

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. By 2030 the world is aiming to achieve sustainable development goals. However, it is impossible to achieve the goals without fulfilling objectives of the Action Plan approved by the International Conference on Population and Development. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the adoption of this program and the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the United Nations Population Fund.


A summit  is to be held on November 12-14 Nairobi, Kenya to bring together political leaders, decision-makers, youth representatives, expert and. to make a commitment and exchange views on implementation of the Action Plan.


Mongolian delegation headed by the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection S.Munkhchimeg will  take part in the summit. In cooperation with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the Government of Mongolia, and civil society organizations will introduce progress towards the implementation of the Action Plan, moreover, will make a commitment on acceleration, financing and successful completion of the Action Plan.
