14 Mongolian judokas to compete in ‘Osaka Grand Slam-2019’

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. ‘Osaka Grand Slam-2019’ will take place in November 22-24 in Osaka, Japan and 646 judokas (376 men, 270 women) from 101 countries will compete in the tournament.


Japanese judokas make up the most number of participants with a total of 56 athletes and 28 from France and Russia, 26 from Germany, 17 from China, 16 from Brazil, Azerbaijan, Netherlands and Portugal, 15 from Uzbekistan and 14 from Mongolia.


Mongolian national men’s team includes L.Unubold and E.Ariunbold in 60 kg, D.Tumurkhuleg and G.Kherlen in 66 kg, Ts.Tsogtbaatar in 73 kg, O.Uuganbaatar and N.Dagvasuren  in 81 kg, G.Altanbagana in 90 kg, L.Otgonbaatar in 100 kg, O.Tsetsentsengel and N.Tuvshinbayar in +100 kg.

As for the women’s team, M.Urantsetseg in 48 kg, L.Sosorbaram in 52 kg and D.Sumiya in 57 kg  will compete in the tournament.

November 22 – Men’s 60, 66 kg; women’s 48, 52, 57 kg

November 23 – Men’s 73, 81 kg; women’s 63, 70 kg

November 24 – Men’s 90, 100 kg, +100 kg; women’s 78, +78 kg
