Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/.To support ambitious engineering programs of German-Mongolian Institute for Resources and Technology (GMIT), MAPTEC donated 10 software units of Vulcan - the solution for the most advanced 3D geological modelling, mine design and production planning, on October 30. This software has a monetary equivalent of MNT1.1 billion.

It is the world's first three-dimensional mining software, which converts user initial data into dynamic three-dimensional models, and also provides a complete set of detailed design and action plans.

With more than 2,000 users from 75 countries around the world, this program will be a great support to the training of students and students in the field of studies, which will enable them to acquire knowledge and skills in mining engineers.

The program was handed over and instructed students about use of Maptek Vulcan software by MAPTEK's representative Steve Sullivan.
