Children of remote area have new school with funding of Swiss NGO

new building of a primary school of ‘Ulaan khad’ bagh of Altai soum, Bayan-Ulgii aimag, built with
the investment of Swiss non-government organization ‘La mensa e il gregge’, is
now ready to open.
The Swiss non-government organization has provided full funding for 100-children school construction and its equipment and furniture. Kushelik Company worked as a contractor of the construction work and completed on time. Moreover, the NGO together with local administration funded the refurbishment of an outdated school building as a dormitory.
Ulaan khad bagh is located 175 kilometers from the center of Bayan-Ulgii aimag and 65 kilometers from the center of Altai soum. As the bagh is located on the mountainous border area, it is covered by thick snow beginning from late Autumn, which makes it impossible to have transportation between the bagh and soum center. Having new school building enables children of remote area to study in comfortable school environment.
