Scientists attending 50th anniversary events in Russia

Mongolian scholars and scientists headed by academician D.Regdel, President of
the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, are on official visit to Russia at the
invitation of Russian Academy of Sciences.
On the occasion
of 50th anniversary of Mongolia-Russia joint biological and
paleontological expedition, Russian delegates led by RAS President A.M.Sergeyev
paid a visit to Mongolia last month. A.M.Sergeyev took part in the meeting
dedicated to the anniversary and established a renewed agreement of cooperation
between the scientific academies.
In Russia, events
for the anniversary, including scientific conference, are being held these
days. Mongolian delegates who are attending the scientific conference include R.Barsbold,
D.Dorjgotov, Ch.Dugarjav, B.Byambaa, A.Dulmaa, D.Battogtokh and Ya.Adiya.
Within the
visit, scientists also have attended the meeting dedicated to the anniversary
and signed a ‘Roadmap’ to implement the agreement established in Ulaanbaatar. Moreover,
they took part in the roundtable meeting on expanding cooperation between two
scientific academies and implementing joint researches and projects and visited the
Russian Geographical Society and Institute of Ecology and Evolution of the RAS.
