/MONTSAME/ Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports Yo.Baatarbileg
met with George Chen, Head of Public Policy for Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Mongolia
at Facebook, exchanging views on opportunities for cooperation in
information technology.
Mentioning
the necessity of cooperating in smart utilization of social media in positively
influencing upbringing of the youth and children and developing the right
attitude in them rather than only providing education and training people in analyzing,
using and sharing the information they find online, Minister Yo.Baatarbileg expressed
his willingness to have planned, long-term cooperation.
The Facebook
delegate said the company can provide support in introducing virtual reality
technology to schools, making classes more fun.
Present at
the meeting were representatives of the Communications and Information Technology
Authority and FARO Foundation which is implementing Digital Literacy program at
the 20th secondary school.
