Hearing aids presented to children with hearing impairment

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Within the series of events on the 70th anniversary of Mongolia-China diplomatic relations, essential equipment and school supplies were presented to the children with disabilities under the ‘Bell of friendship’ campaign on August 2.

State Secretary of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Mongolia G.Unurbayar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Mongolia Xing Haiming and authorities of Zhou Enlai Foundation were present at the ceremony. 


Within the frames of ‘Bell of friendship’ campaign supported by Zhou Enlai Foundation of China, 200 hearing aids, cochlear implants and pouches were donated to the Development center for children with disabilities. 

During the ceremony, State Secretary G.Unurbayar noted that 10.6 percent of total 105.7 thousand people with disabilities in Mongolia are children aged between 0 and 17. We are committed to reach out every child and focusing on the improvement of necessary care and services, he said.


Ambassador Xing Haiming said “Development center for children with disabilities built with Chinese non-refundable aid aimed at providing integrated health and social rehabilitation services to children with disabilities went into operation two months ago. We will continue our cooperation and focus on the personnel training and ancillary facilities of the center.”
