Orkhon aimag and Erenhot establish friendly cooperative relations

Orkhon .MONTSAME/ During his visit to Erenhot of China, Governor of Orkhon aimag D.Batlut signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Establishing Friendly Cooperative Relations between Orkhon aimag and Erenhot.
When receiving Governor of Orkhon aimag D.Batlut, Party Leader of Erenhot Jiu Xu Wen expressed his interest to cooperate with Orkhon aimag mostly in directions of trade, economy, processing plants, education, art and culture and health and in humanitarian field.
Officials led by Governor D.Batlut became familiarized with a mining company that process iron ore for steel melting plants. Raw material of the plant is supplied from Yeruu soum of Selenge aimag by train.
Moreover, the delegates saw construction works of Zamyn-Uud-Erenhot economic cooperation zone or trans-border free trade and economic zone. Infrastructure works of the free zone are under progress and construction of seven plants are expected to be completed in the near future.
