New sports and culture palace puts into operation in Khuvsgul aimag

Khuvsgul /MONTSAME/ A Palace of Sports and Culture with 500 seats has been put into operation in Jargalant soum of Khuvsgul aimag, reports a correspondent in Khuvsgul aimag on January 21. The palace was built with the state budget financing of MNT 3.2 billion.
The opening ceremony of the Palace of Sports and Culture was attended by Deputy Chairman of the State Great Khural L.Enkh-Amgalan and local authorities. During the ceremony, a wrestling tournament for 64 wrestlers, and sports and cultural events were organized among locals of Khuvsgul aimag and neighboring aimags and soums.
The new palace opens the opportunity for the aimag to organize various local and regional sports and cultural events involving the neighboring aimags and their soums such as Zavkhan and Arkhangai.
