Bayan-Ulgii Governor attends disaster prevention meeting in Japan

Bayan-Ulgii /MONTSAME/ Governor of Bayan-Ulgii aimag A.Gylymhan and Deputy Governor A.Kamyeliyat attended the 16th Subcommittee meeting on Disaster Prevention of the Association of North East Asia Regional Goverments in Hyogo prefecture, Japan.
According to the meeting program, participants will get familiarized with disaster prevention policy of Hyogo prefecture, activities of the Asian Disaster Reduction Center and the International Recovery Platform. Furthermore, the representatives of member countries will exchange views and experiences on disaster management of their own countries.
The Disaster Prevention Subcommittee was established in 2002 and the annual meeting is organized with aims to strengthen capacity of emergency workers and reduce damages from disaster in North East Asia.
