Ambassadors of the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Bulgaria were present at the meeting.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the current state of Mongolia-EU relations and cooperation in 2018.

2017 saw great developments in bilateral relationship such as the entry into force of the Mongolia-EU Framework Agreement on Partnership and Cooperation in November, opening of the EU Delegation in Ulaanbaatar and beginning of the Human Rights Dialogue.

The sides agreed to put concrete efforts into increasing Mongolia’s export and the EU investment and take cooperative measures towards eliminating the existing challenges in investment in 2018.
