Cabinet meeting in brief

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ During its regular meeting on December 27, the Cabinet made following decisions.
- The Cabinet instructed Labor Minister S.Chinzorig to reimburse child benefit to every child born in 2017, which will require MNT 4.5 billion.
- Cabinet members, provincial and the capital city Governors and authorities of all government agencies and government-run entities were ordered to draft and implement a detailed plan after the Cabinet’s official order titled ‘Reinforcing Accountability and Discipline’, issued on October 26.
- The Cabinet adopted Mongolia’s medium term strategy within the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction. Deputy Prime Minister U.Enkhtuvshin was ordered to draft an action plan and oversee its implementation. The implementation of the plan will be funded by state and provincial budgets, and foreign aids, international projects and loans.
- In accordance with the Agreement on Establishment of International Investment Bank and the 2014 Protocol on Revision to the Charter, the Cabinet resolved to increase the percentage of Mongolia’s share in the International Investment Bank by an amount of EUR equal to MNT 5.5 billion.
- The Cabinet adopted a list of members of the Mongolian Armed Forces who will partake in 2018 peacekeeping operations and international joint exercises. As of today, over 1,000 Mongolian officers are serving in peacekeeping missions in six countries.
