Uvs sea buckthorn and crystal salt may strengthen trade ties with Taiwan

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A team of investment research specialists from the Taiyen Biotech Company attended Ulaanbaatar Partnership-2017 international exhibition organized on September 7-10 at the initiative of the Representative Office of Taiwan in Ulaanbaatar.
The team is aiming to produce cosmetics and health products using sea buckthorn fruit and crystal salt in Uvs aimag and to strengthen the trade ties between Mongolia and Taiwan.
Yu Wen Wen, Director of Taiyen Biotech and D.Batsaikhan, Mayor of Uvs province, held a meeting for cooperation on supplying sea buckthorn and crystal salt to Taiwan.
Yen Ju Lin, a consultant of the Representative Office of Taiwan in Ulaanbaatar, mentioned that she attended the Ulaanbaatar Partnership-2012 exhibition five years ago, and emphasized agricultural products of Uvs aimag attracted attention of Taiyen Biotech. She also pointed out that Representative Office of Taiwan in Ulaanbaatar will focus on promoting other provinces’ agricultural products to Taiwanese businessman and broadening the economic and trade ties.
