UB Food Festival to run for fifth year

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The “UB Food Festival”, a promotional event of Mongolian cuisine will run on June 2-3 at the Night Light Street, the Ulaanbaatar city Tourism Department informed. For the fifth year, the "UB food festival" will focus on promoting Mongolian cuisine and culture to foreign tourists as well as food culture of different countries to local people, enhancing people’s awareness on healthy diet, and developing special interest tourism.
The restaurants, cafes and clubs in the Night Street will take part in the festival with new menus. During the festival, a variety of dishes from different nations will be served in small portions at a low price. Best chef, best restaurant in people’s choice and best contestant will be also selected and rewarded. Moreover, street performers' concert, Cosplay & Comic night as well as burger&hotdog eating contests among festival visitors are planned to be organized.
