Foreign exchange reserves increase
EconomyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Volume of official foreign exchange reserves of Bank of Mongolia amounted to USD 1.303 billion as of November 2016 . The report of the Central Bank says that the foreign exchange reserve grew by 25.4 percent compared to previous month.
The Central Bank explains that the increased volume of official foreign exchange reserve caused by an increase in the country's gold reserves. This year, the Bank of Mongolia is purchasing a total of 18.3 tons of gold to enlarge the gold reserves it holds.
