Economy | AgricultureUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In the first quarter of this year, 6.1 million heads breeding animals gave births and it is equals to 25.8% of total 23.9 million heads of breeding animals.
Survival of young animals amounted six million heads and it is decreased by 759.7 thousand heads or 11.2% against the same period of the previous year.
In the first quarter of this year, natural losses of adult animals reached 830.5 thousand heads at a national level, showing an increase of 774.2 thousand heads or 14.7 times against the previous year. Among the adult animals lost, 31.4 thousand were horses, 81.9 thousand--cattle, 0.3 thousand--camels, 295.3 thousand--sheep and 421.6 thousand--goats.
