Laws Passed in 2023 Stamped with State Seal

Ulaanbaatar, May 2, 2024 /MONTSAME/. Head of the Office of the President of Mongolia Sodbaatar Yangug and Secretary-General of the State Great Khural (Parliament) of Mongolia Enkhbat Damdin stamped the laws passed in 2023 with the State Seal on May 1, 2024.

 

In 2023, the State Great Khural of Mongolia adopted a total of 378 laws, including 21 primary laws, 12 laws on the ratification of international treaties and agreements, 13 revised laws, 305 laws on amendments, and 27 statute laws. This resulted in six volumes and 1,409 pages.


The President of Mongolia is the holder of the State Seal. The State Seal should be stamped on every page of the original of the Constitution of Mongolia and on the first page of the original of Mongolian laws, international treaties ratified by the State Great Khural, and resolutions of the State Great Khural on establishing and terminating diplomatic relations.


In his speech, Head of the Office of the President of Mongolia Sodbaatar Yangug noted, “This ceremony serves as a guarantee for the laws and resolutions of Mongolia to be faithfully executed.”
