Mongolia-South Korea intergovernmental commission meeting held
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Within a visiting of the Mongolian Minister of Road and Transportation M.Zorigt to the Republic of Korea, the 2nd bilateral intergovernmental commission was held March 24-25 in Seoul.
During the meeting, the countries concluded a present situation of the bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy, road, transportation, energy, mining and other sectors, and exchanged views on attracting South Korean investments to construction projects in Mongolia, introducing progressive techniques and technologies and boosting the economic collaboration.
In frames of the visit, the Mongolian Minister met with Kan Ho-in, the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transportation; and Kim Yougn-suk, the Minister of Oceans and Fisheries. After the meeting, the Mongolian Ministry has established cooperation memorandums with the S.Korean Ministries.
The Mongolia-S.Korea intergovernmental commission is a mechanism with functions of broadening the comprehensive partnership relations and cooperation, intensifying the cooperation in economy, trade and investment and supporting mutually-beneficial cooperation.
