External trade of Mongolia in figure

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In the first eight months of this year, total external trade turnover of Mongolia reached USD 5,798.4 million after making trade with 140 countries.

The trade of 3,251.6 million was made by exports, whereas the trade of 2,546.8 mln.US dollars--by imports.

Total external trade turnover decreased by USD 1,353.0 million or 18.9%, where exports decreased by USD 324.2 million or 9.1% and imports--by USD 1,028.9 million or 28.8% against the previous year.

In August 2015, exports were USD 438.7 million dollars, decreasing by USD 4.0 million or 0.9%, and imports reached USD 338.0 million, decreasing by USD 32.1 million or 8.7% against previous month.

External trade balance showed zero in the first eight months of 2014, while it was in surplus of USD 704.8 million in the first eight months of 2015.

5in'>In the first eight months of this year, GGB’s total expenditure and net lending reached MNT 4,345.9 billion, increasing by MNT 394.9 billion or 10.0% against the previous year. This increase was mainly due to increases of MNT 145.1 billion or 9.1% in expenditure on goods and services, MNT 128.3 billion or 52.4% in interest payments and MNT 116.5 billion or 9.0% in current transfers against the previous year.
