Gross industrial output increases by 21 percent last year
By preliminary results of 2018, the gross industrial output reached MNT 15.7 trillion, showing an increase of MNT 2.7 trillion (21.0percent) from the previous year.

Foreign trade turnover shows increase of USD 2.3 billion in 2018
In 2018, Mongolia traded with 156 countries from all over the world and total trade turnover reached USD 12.9 billion, where exports was USD 7.0 billion and imports was USD 5.9 billion.

National Trade and Investment Roadmap under development
The Government of Mongolia adopted the ‘Mongolian Export’ program in September 2018. Within the framework of the program, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), International Trade Centre (ITC) and Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) are developing the Mongolian Trade and Investment Roadmap.

Retail price of gasoline cut by 100 tugrug
Cabinet Secretariat of Government of Mongolia reported Monday that retail prices of AI-80, AI-92 gasoline and diesel fuel would be lowered by 100 tugrug per liter starting from January 15.

‘Erdenes Tavan Tolgoi’ allocated MNT 480 billion to the state budget
Erdenes Tavan Tolgoi JSC sold a total of 13.5 million tons of coal last year. In 2018, the company’s revenue from sales reached MNT 1.86 trillion, with net profit of MNT 720 billion and MNT 480 billion allocated in the state budget, noted B.Gankhuyag, CEO of Erdenes Tavan Tolgoi JSC.

Mongolian engineers earned MNT 11 billion from aircraft maintenance
Aircraft Maintenance Department of MIAT Mongolian Airlines obtained a revenue of MNT 11 billion in 2018. The department has repaired 12 foreign airplanes this year. Chief of the Production Planning Division at MIAT J.Chuluunjav noted that the company provided aircraft maintenance services to 62 foreign airplanes since 2014.
