During its regular meeting on November 29, the Cabinet made a decision to continue the special regime on Erdenes Tavantolgoi" JSC for another six months considering the need to stabilize the company's operations, creating conditions for normal and stable operation in the future; stabilize the sale of coal through the stock exchange for stimulating the country's economy; improve the company’s governance by forming the company's authority with qualified and competent experts; and increase the company’s efficiency and profitability.

Mongolia to Cooperate with UNICEF on Children's Mental Health
Deputy Governor of the Governor’s Office of Ulaanbaatar City in charge of the Social Sector, Green Development, and Air and Environmental Pollution O. Nominchimeg met with the UNICEF Resident Representative in Mongolia Evariste Kouassi-Komlan on November 27, 2023. The two sides signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Governor’s Office of the Ulaanbaatar City and UNICEF Mongolia. Under the Memorandum, the two parties will cooperate to support the mental health of teachers, employees, and students of secondary schools and kindergartens, protect children from violence, exploitation, harassment, bullying, human rights violations, and harmful habits in online and other environments and promote diet quality of students.
