Heavy rain warning for central and southern aimags
On July 2, National Agency of Meteorology and Environment Monitoring has issued heavy rain alerts for the central and southern aimags and warned herders and citizens to remain cautious of flood caused by the heavy rain. Moreover, Temperature drop is expected in northern parts of the country on July 5-6.

IMF Executive Board approves USD 36.91 million funding
On June 27, the Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) completed the fourth review of Mongolia’s performance under the program supported by a three-year extended arrangement under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF). Completion of the review enables Mongolia to draw the equivalent of USD 36.91 million.

Snow leopard protection project to be implemented
Ministry of Environment and Tourism and World Wildlife Fund (WWF) introduced the Future of the Land of Leopard joint project. Head of the Ministry’s Department of Environment and Natural Resources Management G.Nyamdavaa, head of the Public Administration Department P.Tsogtsaikhan and Conservation Director of the WWF Mongolia B.Chimeddorj introduced the policy on snow leopard protection, project objectives, activities and structure.
