Construction of the "Nursing Education and Research Center" Commences

Ulaanbaatar, May 13, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The construction of the Nursing Education and Research Center of the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences commenced on May 12, 2025.
The Nursing Education and Research Center was initiated by President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa to support the professional development, continuous training, and research endeavors of nurses in Mongolia.
President Khurelsukh attended the Launch Ceremony, emphasizing that the construction of the Center marks the beginning of a new path for the development of nursing science in line with international standards, fostering research-based, quality nursing care and services, the continuous training of nurses, the timely introduction of scientific and technological achievements, and the dissemination of good practices.
The President instructed relevant ministries and government agencies to pay special attention to the prompt and high-quality construction of the Center, and have it ready for commissioning by International Nurses Day in 2026. President Khurelsukh expressed gratitude to all the people and businesses involved in the construction, as well as the doctors, nurses, medical staff, scientists, and teachers who are working hard to safeguard the health of the people.
The eight-story Center will have an area of 4,846 square meters, more than 100 rooms, and a simulated clinical environment for the development of specialized nursing skills, as well as various departments for nutrition, rehabilitation, speech pathology, public health nursing, research, innovation, and self-study. Furthermore, the Center is thoroughly planned to keep pace with international trends, has a smart system and equipment with modern solutions to provide nurses with continuous training at all levels, supporting their research and development.
The contractor of the “Nursing Education and Research Center” construction is “HRV Construction” LLC.
