Veterinary specialists to study in Germany

/MONTSAME/ During a meeting with Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light
Industry Ch.Ulaan, Parliamentary State Secretary of Germany’s Federal Ministry of
Food and Agriculture Hans-Joachim Fuchtel notified that it is possible to
involve Mongolian veterinary specialists in advanced training in the Federal
Republic of Germany.
Minister Ch.Ulaan made proposals to cooperate with German side in manufacturing bioorganic products and creating tangible conditions to certify and export organic foods. Furthermore, the Minister asked to render assistance on developing cooperation in veterinary sector, especially in retraining veterinarians and upskilling workforce in skin and hide processing and manufacturing, irrigated agriculture and food safety.
In aims of promoting SMEs and domestic manufacturing, the sides agreed to seek opportunities for introducing latest German technologies of processing and producing meat and meat products and milk products especially, various cheese and mare’s milk product as well as finding long-term investment and financial sources for importing equipment that are necessary for animal origin raw material processing.
