Tourist information for Dundgobi aimag becomes easily accessible

Dundgobi /MONTSAME/. The Environment and Tourism Department of Dundgobi aimag has launched the application, ‘Dundgovi Province’, for domestic and foreign travelers and tourists.
With the application installed, users will be able to get information about the natural wonders, attractions, monuments and tourist camps of Dundgobi aimag in both Mongolian and English even when offline.
The number of tourists visiting Dundgobi aimag has steadily increased each year. As of 2018, a total of 19,540 tourists visited the aimag, with 76 percent being foreign tourists. Compared to the number of tourists that visited the year before, the number of foreign tourists increased by 29.7 percent, while the number of domestic tourists increased by 35.8 percent. Tourists from Italy, Germany, France and South Korea have also increased in the recent few years.
