NTORC begins to use helicopter for transporting patients

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A helicopter carried that patients landed on helipad at the National Trauma and Orthopaedic Research Center (NTORC) at 12.30 p.m on Friday.
It was the first transportation of patients by a helicopter to the NTORC. In order to improve access of health services to localities, the NTORC built the helipad on its area in June of this year. As of present, about 30 per cent of the patients come from localities.
Although it was a trial landing, the flight will be regularized after concluding an agreement.
