Academician mr D.Regdel was elected the president of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences at its congress, which was held in the previous week in Ulaanbaatar. He worked as a researcher at the
Institute of Chemistry and Physics, the secretary for science at the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology. Mr D.Regdel has become the first vice president of the Mongolian Academy of sciences in 2009.

Mongolians will make a paper from stone waste of the Erdenet Mining Corporation.. It was firstly patented in Taiwan. Now, it has been introduced in 40 countries. The Mongolian Stone Paper Company introduced the technology for making paper from natural stones.
Project worth USD 15 million to be implemented in Mongolia
The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) will implement a project amounting at USD 15 million for the five-year period between 2017 and 2021. During the meeting with the Permanent Representative of the UNFPA to Mongolia Ms Naomi Kitahara, Deputy PM Mr U.Khurelsukh said that Mongolia is affirmed to fully support the implementation of the abovementioned projects and programs.
