Facebook delegation visits CRC

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Delegation from Facebook Asia Pacific, visiting Mongolia at the invitation of the Communication Regulatory Commission (CRC), met the authority of CRC today, September 5.
During the meeting, the delegation from Facebook introduced its public standards. The parties also exchanged views on ensuring the individuals’ rights and freedom, privacy protection and fighting against illegal activities and held a discussion on regional security and privacy, and promoting business environment in Mongolia.
Additionally, the parties shared opinions on establishing a Memorandum of Cooperation in this regard.
Mongolia was ranked first in Asia, 10th in the world with affordability in the ‘Inclusive Internet Index-2018’ released by Facebook.
