Ministry of Food and Agriculture reports about harvesting
Economy | AgricultureUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Food and Agriculture Wednesday gave a report on final results of this year’s harvesting.
According to the report, farm lands of 50.7 thousand hectares have been harvested in two phases, and lands of 50 thousand hectares have been threshed by October 30.
At a national level, the country harvested 211.3 thousand tons of grain, of which 200 tons of wheat, 163.9 thousand tons of potatoes, 71.6 thousand tons of vegetables, 42.8 thousand tons of fodder plant and 21.0 thousand tons of oil plants. This year, 108.0 thousand tons of wheat has been supplied to flour mills.
