Almost 100% of vegetables harvested
Economy | AgricultureUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ministry of Food and Agriculture Monday reported that 75.8% of grain and 98.0-99.6% of vegetables and potatoes have been harvested by October 16 nationwide.
As of today, the country has gathered 176.2 thousand tons of grain, 147.8 thousand tons of potatoes, 68.9 thousand tons of veggies, 34.7 thousand tons of fodder, and 11.7 tons of oil plants. By preliminary balance, it has been expected to harvest 265.0 tons of grain, of which 252.3 thousand is wheat, also 117.3 thousand tons of potatoes, 75.3 thousand tons of vegetables, 28.7 thousand tons of oil plants, and 53.9 thousand tons of fodder plants.
