Minister to Develop Tourism into Leading Sector in Mongolia

April 13, 2026 /MONTSAME/. Member of Parliament, Member of Government,
Minister of Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth, Aldarjavkhlan Jukov, met with the
ministry officials on April 10.
The minister
began the meeting by providing detailed information on government policies in
the culture, sports, tourism, and youth sectors, as well as on prospective key
projects and general sectoral development direction. He then noted the
importance of each ministry official in the successful implementation of
government policy and emphasized that he will be innovative and decisive to
accelerate sectoral development.
Moreover, the
minister stated that he will pay special attention to and provide policy-level
support for developing tourism into a leading sector in Mongolia.
During the
meeting, the minister listened to sector officials’ views, openly exchanging
ideas on ways to improve future cooperation and cohesion. According to the
ministry, the meeting served as a fundamental step in the active implementation
of sectoral innovation and development goals based on mutual understanding and
new methods.
The meeting
held at the new branch of the National Library was attended by the State
Secretary General, heads of departments, and over 100 officials.
