Mongolian Contortionist Lkhagva-Ochir Earns Prestigious Golden Star Trophy

Mongolian circus performer and contortionist Lkhagva-Ochir Erdene-Ochir earned the Golden Star Trophy at the 22nd Festival International du Cirque de Grenoble 2024.
Lkhagva-Ochir redefined the limits of chair balancing, daring to perform the act at an astonishing height of 11 meters, a world-first that left audiences breathless.
Over the past two decades, he has amassed an impressive collection of international awards, including a bronze medal and a special Charlie Chaplin Award from the 16th Monte Carlo Festival. His accolades also include a gold medal from the International Circus Festival in Hanoi, Vietnam, in 2014 and a silver from the 29th Liana Orfei International Circus Festival in Italy in 2013. Moreover, he claimed nearly ten medals from top-tier international competitions, consistently bringing honor to his country.
