The Film "If Only I Could Hibernate" to Be Released in British Cinemas

Ulaanbaatar, April 16, 2024 /MONTSAME/. The full-length feature film "If Only I Could Hibernate," directed and produced by Zoljargal Purevdash of "Amygdala Films," will begin screening in cinemas in the UK and Ireland starting April 19, 2024.


This film has won an award from the international film festival "Un Certain Regard" at the Cannes Film Festival, marking the first Mongolian film that has received such recognition.


"If Only I Could Hibernate" depicts the life of a teenager living in a ger district of Ulaanbaatar, his struggles for a better future based on his physical condition, and the many challenges of modern Ulaanbaatar, including air pollution, inequality in education, and children's rights issues.
