Research conference on Mongolia-Australia relations organized

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Mongolian Institute at the Australian National University and School of International Relations and Public Administration of the National University of Mongolia organized a research conference themed, ‘Mongolia-Australia Diplomatic Relations 50’ in collaboration with the Embassy of Mongolia in Australia and the Australian Embassy in Mongolia.
Member of
the State Great Khural and President of the Mongolia Australia Society D.Tsogtbaatar
participated as the keynote speaker at the conference, organized as part of the
50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia
and Australia. Moreover, Mongolian Ambassador to Australia D.Davaasuren, Australian
Ambassador to Mongolia Katie Smith, Director of the Institute of Mongolian
Studies Natasha Fein, Deputy Director Li Narangoa, Director of the School of
International Relations and Public Administration J.Battogtokh, Honorary Consul
of Mongolia in New South Wales Brian Thornton and researchers of Mongolia and
Australia participated in the conference.
The speakers gave speeches and discussed in detail many topics such as Mongolia-Australia relations, education, trade, investment, economic cooperation, and Mongolian studies in Australia.
