Mongolia’s Ambassador meets Co-chair of the U.S.-Mongolia friendship caucus

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. On December 13, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the United States U. Batbayar met with Congressman Don Young, Co-chair of the U.S-Mongolia friendship caucus of the U.S. Congress. During the meeting, the sides noted the importance of inter-parliamentary relations in the Mongolia-U.S. relations, which are successfully developing at the level of Strategic Partnership.

A visit by Speaker of the Mongolian Parliament G.Zandanshatar paid to the United States in September, 2021 was the first-ever high-level visit since the two countries established the Strategic Partnership. The Ambassador thanked the U.S.-Mongolia friendship caucus for its support to organize this visit successfully while expressing willingness for further active cooperation.

Mr. Don Young said he pays great attention to the U.S.-Mongolian relations and expressed his commitment to provide all possible support.
