‘Ensuring Inter-Sectoral Coordination to Support Employment’ multi-stakeholders consultation

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. EU-Funded ‘SDG-aligned budgeting to transform employment in Mongolia’ project held the ‘Ensuring Inter-Sectoral Coordination to Support Employment’ multi-stakeholders consultation workshop on November 23 within the framework of its ‘Decent employment soum and district model’ pilot project in Bayanchandmani soum of Tuv province and Songinokhairkhan district, with the participation of relevant experts from Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, provincial and soum Governor's Office, Social Policy Department, Labor and Welfare Service Department, Food and Agriculture Department, Education Department, Health Association, Provincial Employers' Association, Trade Union and Training Institutions.
The event was opened by Mr Unurbayar.G, State Secretary of
the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, H.E. Ms Axelle Nicaise, European
Union Ambassador to Mongolia, Ms Elaine Conkievich, UNDP Mongolia Resident
Representative.
During the consultation, the Multi-Stakeholders discussed that the unemployed, job seekers and employers of Bayanchandmani soum should reach to the employment specialists to consult about the possible job opportunities based on their needs, and find the necessary support and assistance to access to the labor market as well as long-term implementation opportunities of public service. The participants exchanged their views and agreed to work together to plan further actions.
