Ambassador of France presents his credentials

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Mongolia Sebastien Surun yesterday presented his letter of credence to President of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh.


President U.Khurelsukh emphasized that the traditional friendly relations between Mongolia and France are successfully developing based on the shared values ​​of democracy, human rights and freedom, and expressed his desire to further expand cooperation in the spheres of trade, economy, culture and education. He also expressed his desire to cooperate with France in the field of environmental protection, climate change resilience, combating desertification and intensification of cooperation in the field of renewable energy, and wished Ambassador Sebastien Surun every success in his work.



Ambassador Sebastien Surun expressed his commitment to work with Mongolia to expand cooperation in the fields of defense, civil security, mining and culture. He also expressed support for Mongolian athletes to participate in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
