Deputy Foreign Minister receives Country Representative of Global Green Growth Institute

/MONTSAME/. Deputy Foreign Minister B.Munkhjin received Country Representative
of Global Green Growth Institute Annaka Peterson on August 31.
Noting
that Mongolia is attaching great importance to mitigate climate change, fight
against desertification and soil degradation as well as the issue relating to
afforestation, the Deputy Foreign Minister expressed willingness to intensively
expand international cooperation in matters.
As the Global Green Growth Institute runs operations involving the provision of support for green growth policy implementation, policy advice and technical assistance as well as green investment, the Country Representative expressed the possibility to cooperate with Mongolia in the fight against desertification and matters related to afforestation.
