Foreign Minister meets WB Country Manager

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On April 1, Minister of Foreign
Affairs B.Battsetseg received the World Bank Country Manager for Mongolia
Andrei Mikhnev.
Underscoring that the projects and programs realized in
Mongolia by the World Bank in the past 30 years have played an important role
in increasing Mongolia’s economic growth, the Minister expressed gratitude to
the World Bank for supporting the policies and activities being carried out by
the government in the direction of ensuring the public health and security, as
well as economic recovery.
The Minister also asked the World Bank to continue to
support projects and programs related to improving the business environment,
diversifying and facilitating foreign trade under the WB’s 2021-2025 Country
Partnership Framework. She also invited the WB’s representation to attend a
consultative meeting on the coordination of activities to be organized among
donors cooperating in the implementation of the WTO Trade Facilitation
Agreement.
