Government delivering public services to citizens abroad through E-MONGOLIA
PoliticsUlaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. A joint meeting of the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs and Communications and Information Technology Authority was
held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. B.Battsetseg, Minister of Foreign
Affairs, B.Bolor-Erdene, Chairwoman of CITA, and Heads of relevant departments
and divisions of the two organizations attended the meeting.
During the meeting, they exchanged detailed information on
the “Digital Nation” comprehensive actions to be implemented by the Government,
took measures to integrate the Ministry of Foreign Affairs into the integrated
digital system “E-Mongolia” and clarified the types of public services
available to Mongolians abroad. The progress of the implementation measures was
discussed and further works were agreed upon.
Furthermore, both sides agreed to work together to simplify
the process of issuing digital signatures to Mongolians abroad and to intensify
the process of providing digital signatures to those citizens through
“E-Mongolia”.
